Hello! I am Camaelia Barnes, a digital creator, illustrator, and student pursuing my degree in Digital Media and Marketing. My creative foundation is built on an expansive passion for art and design in all its forms, paired with a deep fascination with strategic marketing. By combining these fields, I specialize in brand identity and visual communication within the motorsports industry, driven by a mission to expand female representation and bridge the gap between technical automotive fields and youth engagement.
My professional footprint includes high-profile collaborations with Formula E and Women in Motorsports North America (WIMNA), which culminated in the development of the initiative, "You Can Be Her If You Can See Her." As a Muslim artist, my faith inspires my choice to use a precise, faceless, minimalist vector art style. This design strategy honors my personal artistic values while intentionally omitting facial features, allowing young demographics to universally project themselves into high-level STEM and executive racing roles.
Today, I balance my academic studies with my role as the Co-Founder, Lead Illustrator, and Project Manager of See Be Books a professional-grade series launched in partnership with Co-Founder, Writer, and Technical Manager Olivia Delaune. While the full details of our venture remain behind garage doors for now, this series is built to fundamentally shift how the next generation visualizes the essential real-world women operating behind the scenes in modern racing.
This digital space serves as my official portfolio and a window into my evolving journey as a designer, student, and aspiring industry professional. I invite you to follow along right here to catch exclusive teasers, creative breakdowns, and upcoming milestones as we prepare to launch this next generation of motorsports media.
